Xpress Carriage T&Cs

 

Effective from: 5th January 2026 

  1. Service Overview

CHX Products’ Xpress carriage service offers eligible customers next day dispatch on qualifying orders, subject to availability and the terms set out below. 

  1. Eligibility Criteria

The Xpress carriage service is available only for orders that meet all of the following criteria: 

  • Product Type: Trolley coin products only (CHX Products reserves the right to review and limit or expand product eligibility in future) 
  • Maximum Quantity: Up to 1,000 units per order 
  • Print Specification: One and Two-side CMYK print 
  • Approval Time: Order must be approved by CHX Products’ sales team by 16:00 at the latest on the day before the required dispatch date 
  • Daily Capacity: Limited slots per day, allocated at the sole discretion of CHX Products’ sales team 
  • Additional Charge: £30.00 surcharge per qualifying order (plus VAT at the prevailing rate) 
  1. Service Limitations & Important Notice

Next Day Dispatch – Not Next Day Delivery 

The Xpress carriage service guarantees next day dispatch only. This means that qualifying orders will be dispatched from CHX Products’ facility on the next working day following approval. CHX Products does not and cannot guarantee next day delivery to the end recipient. 

Actual delivery times are dependent upon the carrier and are subject to their terms, conditions, and service standards. Delivery times may vary based on: 

  • Carrier performance and schedules 
  • Delivery location and accessibility 
  • Weather conditions and other force majeure events 
  • Recipient availability 
  • Any other factors outside CHX Products’ control 
  1. Slot Allocation & Approval
  • Xpress carriage slots are subject to daily capacity restrictions and availability 
  • Slots are allocated by CHX Products’ sales team on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to capacity and operational requirements 
  • CHX Products reserves the right to decline Xpress carriage requests at its sole discretion 
  • Orders must be submitted and approved by 16:00 to qualify for next day dispatch 
  • Orders approved after 16:00 will not qualify for Xpress carriage and will be processed under standard carriage terms 
  • CHX Products is under no obligation to accept any Xpress carriage request 
  1. Charges & Payment
  • The Xpress carriage surcharge of £30.00 (plus VAT) is in addition to all other applicable charges, including standard carriage costs 
  • Payment terms remain as per CHX Products’ standard Conditions of Sale (30 days strictly net) 
  • The Xpress surcharge is non-refundable once an order has been dispatched, except where CHX Products has failed to dispatch on the agreed date due to its own error 
  1. Carrier Liability & Transit Claims

CHX Products uses third-party carriers for all deliveries. Accordingly: 

  • CHX Products accepts no liability for delays, non-delivery, or damage caused by carriers 
  • All claims for damage to or partial loss of goods in transit must be submitted in writing to both the carrier and CHX Products within seven days of delivery, in accordance with CHX Products’ standard Conditions of Sale 
  • In the case of non-delivery of the whole consignment, claims must be submitted in writing to both the carrier and CHX Products within seven days of receipt of notification of dispatch 
  • CHX Products’ liability (if any) for failure to dispatch goods shall be limited as set out in its standard Conditions of Sale 
  1. Force Majeure & Delays

CHX Products shall not be liable for: 

  • Failure to perform any obligation under the Xpress carriage service if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond CHX Products’ control, including but not limited to: carrier delays, industrial action, extreme weather, acts of God, or any other force majeure event 
  • Any delay, howsoever caused, in performing any obligation under this service 
  • Any costs, losses, or damages howsoever arising from any such delay or failure 
  1. Risk & Title
  • Risk in goods dispatched under the Xpress carriage service shall pass to the purchaser upon dispatch from CHX Products’ premises 
  • Title in goods remains with CHX Products until payment has been received in full, in accordance with CHX Products’ standard Conditions of Sale 
  1. Cancellation & Amendments
  • Once an Xpress carriage order has been approved and allocated a slot, it may not be cancelled or amended without CHX Products’ written consent 
  • If CHX Products agrees to cancel an Xpress carriage order, the £30.00 surcharge will be credited only if the order has not yet been dispatched 
  • Any amendments requested after approval may result in the order reverting to standard carriage terms 
  1. Service Variations & Suspension

CHX Products reserves the right to: 

  • Suspend or withdraw the Xpress carriage service at any time without prior notice 
  • Amend these terms and conditions at any time 
  • Vary the daily allocation, eligibility criteria, or surcharge amount 
  • Extend or restrict the product types eligible for Xpress carriage 

Where reasonably possible, CHX Products will provide advance notice of material changes to the service. 

  1. Relationship to Standard Terms

These Xpress carriage terms are supplemental to, and should be read in conjunction with, CHX Products’ standard Conditions of Sale. In the event of any conflict between these Xpress carriage terms and the standard Conditions of Sale, these Xpress carriage terms shall prevail in respect of orders placed under the Xpress carriage service. All other terms of the standard Conditions of Sale remain in full force and effect. 

  1. Exclusion of Liability

Without prejudice to CHX Products’ standard Conditions of Sale, and save in respect of death or personal injury resulting from CHX Products’ negligence, CHX Products shall not be liable to the purchaser or any third party, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for: 

  • Any loss of profit, business, contracts, revenues, or anticipated savings 
  • Any loss of or damage to goodwill or reputation 
  • Any indirect or consequential loss or damage 
  • Any delays in delivery caused by carriers or other third parties 
  • Any failure to achieve specific delivery dates or times 

The total liability of CHX Products in respect of the Xpress carriage service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall in no circumstances exceed the Xpress carriage surcharge paid (£30.00 plus VAT). 

  1. No Guarantee of Suitability

CHX Products does not guarantee that the Xpress carriage service is suitable for any specific purpose or meets any particular delivery deadline. Customers must make their own assessment as to whether this service meets their requirements and should not rely on the service for time-critical deliveries where failure to deliver by a specific date would result in significant loss or damage. 

  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and all parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
